polybius

"The urban legend says that in 1981, when new arcade games were uncommon, an unheard-of new arcade game appeared in several suburbs of Portland, Oregon. The game was popular to the point of addiction, with lines forming around the machines and often resulting in fights over who would play next. The machines were visited by men in black, who collected unknown data from the machines, allegedly testing responses to the game's psychoactive effects. Players supposedly suffered from a series of unpleasant side effects, including seizures, amnesia, insomnia, night terrors, and hallucinations. Approximately one month after its supposed release in 1981, Polybius is said to have disappeared without a trace. The company named in most accounts of the game is Sinneslöschen. The word is described by writer Brian Dunning as "not-quite-idiomatic German" (a word constructed outside the norms of German-language usage and grammar) meaning "sense delete" or "sensory deprivation". If it was a German term of actual use, "Sinneslöschen" would be pronounced like [ˈzɪnəslœʃn̩]. The word's meanings are derived from the German words Sinne ("senses") and löschen ("to extinguish" or "to delete", though the way they are combined is not standard German. The game has the same name as the classical Greek historian Polybius, born in Arcadia." Wikipedia

Little Big Planet HUB

Little Big Planet HUB was a game intending to be a free to play version of the series "Little Big Planet". It would have had in game purchaces, probably to earn money. Most elements of this game made it into Little Big PLanet 3. Even things such as the chalanges icon used in screenshots was re-used. Based off of current information we can assume Little Big Planet 3 was the result of more ideas being crammed into the game, eventually just making the developers decide to just releace this as and full blown Entrie in the little big planet series. Even with this people still wanted little big planet hub to releace. Eventually people started to connect the dots and realize little big planet 3 WAS little big planet hub, even proven by code from inside little big planet 3 revealing that the pod for the Little Big planet hub was in the the games files, proving even more that little big planet 3 is an evolved little big planet hub.
